About Me:
Ever since I was a child, I had a love for art. I knew it would be a part of whatever I was going to do; not only as a career, but as a hobby. My career began standing long hours in front of a drafting table, and the smell of Bestine and spray mount filling the air. Today, I sit in a comfortable chair, the sounds of external hard drives and laser printers in my ear, and the smell of coffee in the air. Things have definitely changed.
The t-square, proportional wheel, and Rapidograph pens may all be put away, but the value of doing things "the old way" has helped shape my professional values, skills and determination (those pens taught me patience in a way nothing else never can!).
As I sat in front of my Macintosh SE/30 with its 7" monitor, my hard drive loaded with 32MB (not a typo) of RAM and a floppy drive (remember those?!), I knew that the way I designed was changing, I just never realized how big those changes would be.
Today, with a large flat-screen LCD display, high-speed Internet connection, an extensive list of print and web design projects behind me, I can say with that my professional road has been a long and engaging ride. I've designed everything from ads, newsletters, brochures, exhibit displays, packaging, websites and interactive projects; for "mom and pop" businesses up to multi-national Fortune 500 companies. I'm an equal opportunity production geek! The goal of my studio is to elevate your graphic image through exceptional print production, web production, and graphic design. This is not just my career, but my passion.
